What’s Covered Under Cleaning and Laundry Assistance?
We have included a variety of work that caters to the diverse requirement of the participants. These include:
- Laundry Services: Washing and cleaning clothes, hanging, drying, ironing and folding them regularly at home.
- Linen Services: Pickup and drop-off, washing and drying of bedsheets, towels, and any other possible clothing from an external site.
Keep in mind:
To opt for this service, the NDIS will determine if this support meets the “reasonable and necessary” criteria. To avail this support, get in touch with your NDIS planner to check if you meet the eligibility criteria.
For that –
- The support must be exclusively listed in the participant’s plan (depending on the participant’s unique needs)
- Strongly related to an NDIS goal in the plan
